The Translational Health and Medical Biotechnology Research Center (TBIO) introduces a specialized training program aimed at preparing participants for the application process for the FCT PhD scholarships 2025. This course delves into and identifies the best practices for crafting applications for FCT PhD scholarships, covering essential topics such as: 1) Curriculum Vitae (CV) development, registration on scientific platforms and essential content, 2) aligning project goals with sustainable development objectives 3) structuring a viable PhD project, and tailoring projects to fit respective evaluation panels. Additionally, the course will foster the acquisition of crucial skills for structuring a work plan and enhancing team communication. |

Scheduled to take place annually over a two-week period, the course includes: - 40 hours of contact (lectures and supervised writing) - 44 hours of autonomous study/work, totaling 84 hours of engagement. Sessions will be provided in both Portuguese and English. The outcome of the course will be determined after the final evaluation, setting a clear benchmark for academic and preparatory success in the realm of FCT PhD scholarship applications. |
